I recently reread No One Belongs Here More than You, Miranda July’s collection of short stories that came out a few years back. I still can’t figure out why it garnered such passionate dislike from folks. I find her work to be totally endearing, albeit in an awkward, sometimes to the point of uncomfortableness way. But it also makes you smile, and sometimes even chortle. She is, for lack of a better word, FRESH.

And! She made a makeshift whiteboard using the top of her refrigerator for the book’s website. How cool is that?
