Sleater-Kinney ladies Carrie Brownstein and Janet Weiss have teamed up to form a new band! While everything is still under wraps at the moment, this is most def a cause for celebration. AND, Carrie has alluded to a S-K reunion in the next five years!
Jessica Hopper has once again deftly combined music journalism with an unabashed feminist perspective. Check out her recent piece on tUnE-yArDs in the Portland Mercury.
Kleenex/LiLiPUT’s Live Recordings, TV-Clips, and Roadmovie awsomeness is out today on Kill Rock Stars. And it includes never released songs!
I’m super sick right now. And since no one is around to make me tea or bring me books on Emma Goldman, I’ve been subsisting on the following:

4) Blatz (Because when I turned the volume up really loud, the trolls getting it on right outside my door finally left.)
