Primal Scream is one of those bands that people always talk about. I like “Velocity Girl” well enough but never took an active interest in any other material (perhaps because of their later affiliations with acid house and copious amounts of ecstasy- in other words, my idea of hell). On a whim, though, I recently purchased Evil Heat at Amoeba. Besides being put off by the frequent use of “cocaine” as a lyric, I was shocked to discover that the woman singing on “Some Velvet Morning” is none other than Kate Moss. (Apparently everyone knew this but me. WTF?!) For whatever reason, I am oddly intrigued by her involvement in a NANCY SINATRA COVER DONE BY PRIMAL SCREAM, and can’t stop watching this video.
Although, it kind of makes me want to start chucking weighty 19th century novels at them.

lol, Kate is so wild! I love her.
The author of http://www.sweetheartsociety.com has written an excellent article. You have made your point and there is not much to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not argue with: In a cluster of galaxies, one of many such clusters, there is a galaxy. On the edge of this galaxy, is a star, one of trillions of such stars. Orbiting this star, is a tiny ball of iron. On this tiny ball is a very thin scum of lighter elements. Most of which are watching TV. Thanks for the info.
